The dental hygienist provides dental hygiene treatments and services related to the promotion of oral health and the prevention of diseases and conditions of the teeth and mouth. The Dental Hygienist’s license is mandatory and valid and must be a member of the Ordre des Hygiénistes Dentaires du Québec to practice.
